How it works
-
01
Tell us about your group
Names, jobs, running jokes, the holiday that went wrong. The more you give us, the sharper it gets.
-
02
We write it
A published crime writer builds the plot, the suspects and the clues around the people who’ll be playing them.
-
03
You review it
We send a draft. Anything that lands wrong, we change before it goes anywhere near a printer.
-
04
Play it
Delivered as a full kit — booklets, clues, invitations, host instructions. Allow twelve weeks start to finish.
What you get
Always wanted a murder mystery game written to include all the quirks and traits of your family or friends?
We create murders to order every day of the week, either tweaking an existing game from the catalogue or designing something completely from scratch.
If you are looking for a unique experience, complete with Video inspector, designed specifically for your party, with your plot lines, your suspects and your victim - then you are in the right place.
Custom writing takes time. This package assumes 12 weeks notice for us to write the game from scratch to your specifications.
On check out - you will be sent a link to book in our diary for the first planning meeting. Please leave 30 minutes minimum for us to discuss your project with you in detail. We will ask for further information following the call once we know what it is you need.
If you have a "rush job" - please contact us first before we agree to accept the commission.
This custom page is turned on and off depending on our availability. if you reach this page and there's "no stock available" it's because we have been fully booked. We may still be able to accept your commission but will need to look at our schedule before we agree, so just get in touch.
Not quite that bespoke?
Most people don't need a whole new game — they need one of ours with an extra character written in. That's £25 to add a male or female character to any of our dinner party games, chosen on the game's page. On Murder at Merkister Hall we can rename the location too, for £35.
