How it plays
Burglar is a game for 2-6 players aged 6+
It's a family game, involving the recovery of three antiques from a 1920s themed living room.
Hidden in the room are also two dogs who when woken will protect the belongings and mean you have to "drop one" to escape unhurt.
Every dice roll gives you the option to move squares or, if you roll a 1 or a 2, move an item of furniture to hinder the movements of another player.
It's a game of tactics, memory and chance as each player aims to find and retrieve three items and escape the room again before the other players.
Burglar was sucessfully funded on Kickstarter in November 2019.
Age guidance
Ages 8+ due to small parts and choking hazards.
However with adult supervision children as young as 3 can enjoy playing this game.

How fast will my order arrive?
Approx arrival times for 48 hour tracked and airmail are:
- UK – 3-4 working days (the Royal Mail don’t guarantee 48 hours and it often enters the system at the end of the working day).
- Europe 7-10 working days
- Rest of World – 14-28 working days
If you elect for expedited shipping – we use a Courier or Royal Mail Next Day Delivery within the UK; and a courier outside the UK.
Approx arrival times on Expedited shipping are:
- UK – 1-2 working days
- Europe – 3-7 working days
- Rest of World – 3-9 working days
Where is my order?
We have no machines in the office that handle distribution. All orders at Red Herring Games are handled and processed by real people and we always endeavour to ship orders within 48 hours.
If you received a dispatch confirmation email from us, we received your order and have shipped it.
So if it hasn’t arrived when you were expecting, it means, sadly, that your order may have fallen victim to “natural causes”.
Mail men occasionally drop packages in puddles, trains are occasionally robbed, boats sink, and conveyor belts sometimes chew up post.
If the order hasn’t arrived when you were expecting just get in touch so we can see if we can find out what has gone wrong and get a replacement to you ASAP!
International shipping can take as much as 21 days – however, if you need it quickly and fear it may have fallen victim to the postal gremlins, contact us and we will see what we can do to help!
Obviously if you ordered a downloadable product, we aren’t shipping that one to you – instead you’ll find that in your account ready and waiting for you.
Why are physical games more expensive to ship to the USA?
Physical goods (paper, ink, and boxes) are subject to international trade tariffs and customs processing fees. Because digital downloads are not "physical goods," they currently bypass these import taxes entirely.
