What to expect

The evening

Get ready for a night of serious finger-pointing and terrible alibis inside the historic walls of the Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel. Doors open at 6:30pm, with everything kicking off at 7:30 PM sharp, and you’re pretty much thrown straight into the deep end. The whole thing plays out over a proper 3-course meal, so expect the drama to ramp up and the clues to drop every time the waiters bring out the next course.

The real kicker? Six of the people sitting in the room with you tonight are going to be unmasked as the prime suspects. That means between bites, you'll be grilling your friends, hunting for clues, and probably arguing across the table about who is lying through their teeth. Once dessert is cleared, it'll be time to lock in your final guesses. We’ll wrap up the night by naming and shaming the actual killer, handing out prizes to the top detectives, and giving a massive shoutout to whoever comes up with the absolute worst theory of the night.

The Betrayers

The Betrayers is a hit TV show currently airing in the UK.  Contestants from all corners of the country, and from all walks of life, apply to take part.  Each one is hoping to stay in the game long enough to win several thousand pounds. Among the assembled contestants at the start of the game lurk three betrayers.  Each evening, the betrayers can choose to eliminate one contestant and during the day, the entire assembly can choose to evict one contestant from the show.  Taking place in a top-secret castle location, with daily challenges to overcome, the group has whittled themselves down to the last 7 contestants when disaster strikes. Instead of a fictional murder, the contestants now have to deal with a very real one!  Erma Faithful, the last victim of the betrayers, has not just left the castle - she’s dead! The question is... who killed her?
