Tony Brown has penned a number of murder mystery games on our website .
We asked him to tell us a little about how he ended up in the murder mystery world. Tony said:
I started writing verse when I was in junior school. My English teacher took one of my poems and promised to get it published. I never saw or heard of it again! If it ever did get published it wasn’t in my name! “Nudge nudge wink wink”
Since then I have gone on to write a great many poems and humorous verses mostly for family and friends featuring special occasions.
Later in life I moved into pantomime. I have written, produced and directed eleven of them. All but one of them I took part in, playing virtually every male part available including Dame, Vilain, Link man and hero. All my productions were entered into the Somerset Fellowship of Drama’s “Cinderella Trophy Competition” and won multiple awards including “Best original script”. I later went on to become the Moderator for the Fellowship until I retired and moved to Spain. I wrote and directed a further three pantomimes for a drama group on the Costa Blanca.
My latest achievement in the literary field is having three murder mysteries published on the highly successful “Red Herring” site. I hope to create more of those but at the moment am suffering the infamous “writer’s block”.
