Delivery of Custom /adjusted orders

If you order a CUSTOM version of a game – the first kit you will be able to access will be the original order.  This is because we manually sit and adjust the games in the office when they’re ordered, so any customsation requires human input.  This means the customisation will be done as soon as we can do it.  Usually this is within 2 working days and once finished we email it to you.  However we know how people like to plan… so the website delivers the original game immediately and we follow this up manually with an adjusted copy as soon as we’ve finished the work!

If you accidentally mistype your email during the check out process you may miss the email confirmation and link – so after clearing check out – visit your account and you’ll be able to find the link to download it there.

Printed murder mystery kits delivery timescale.

We are sensitive to the environment so rather than cutting down thousands of trees and holding stock, we print on demand.

This means printed order requests are handled within 24-48 hours and they’re usually dispatched as soon as they’re printed.

We work a 5 day week in the retail team.  This means orders are shipped Monday through Friday.

As we ship internationally – delivery timeframes will depend on delivery destination and service used.  Mailing services are super expensive these days, so we usually try to get the best delivery speed for the best price.

If you order a printed kit – you’ll also have access to the downloadable murder mystery game as you check out. This means you can start planning immediately!

UK shipments

We use a variety of methods but Evri, Yodel and Royal Mail in the UK are the main three.

Delivery is usually within the 2-3 day window for most UK towns and cities, but it can take another couple of days for rural locations, highlands and islands.

If you need your order FAST – add that information onto the order in the comments section.   We will pick the courier that gets it to you speedily.  Tell us the date you need it by and we’ll do our best.  If you need it urgently – we will get in touch to ask if you’d like us to take an additional payment for a faster trackedservice.  In which case delivery can be within 24 hours.

Overseas shipments

We ship all overseas orders via courier or airmail.  Again we look for the best value shipping for the delivery timescale.

If you need your order FAST – add that information onto the order.  We will pick the courier that gets it to you speedily.  Tell us the date you need it by and we’ll do our best.  If you need it urgently – we will get in touch to ask if you’d like us to take an additional payment for a faster service.

Europe – will usually take 3- 5 working days delivery, but again more rural locations may take a little longer. We use a combination of couriers depending on your location.

USA delivery is 3-10 days depending on location. Main cities are generally faster than more rural locations, sometimes it can take up to 10 days if you live in a very rural location. (Do bear in mind nothing moves at weekends.)

Customs information

Unforunately BREXIT and changes to export from the UK sometimes means our deliveries are held up in customs. We always price our exports as low as possible as if there are any claims the couiers will only reimburse us for the physical cost of the items in raw terms (paper and card) – the lower price also helps with the customs border.

However please just keep an eye on your emails as if something does get stopped at customs they may email you to request details or payment to clear the item through the border. This email may go into your junk. The first we know something hasn’t made it is either a customer contacting us directly, or when the parcel arrives back to our office 6-8 weeks later! The courier team don’t contact us if you don’t respond.

If you’re still waiting 14 days after an order – please contact us – this would indicate the package has got lost in transit (which does occaisionally happen) and we can ship a replacement to you.
