Three Workshop Lesson Plans included in latest game
Friday 3rd May saw the first run of “Death on the Campus”, an educational murder mystery which was written specifically for NCOP outreach events for the further education sector in the region.
The murder mystery event combined our usual style multi-room plot with the unique addition of 3 lesson plans which allowed students taking part to experience crime scene analysis and puzzle solving first hand, and an evening single room connected script for parents.
This is the first murder mystery script available to schools with a clear educational focus, helping students to problem solve as well as experience first hand what scene of crime officers and forensic teams look at within crime scene investigations.
What the script consists of:
For those who are familiar with our multi-room style scripts – we used this as a basis for the plot. These are our most engaging hands on plots, which lead guests around several rooms and allow them to explore clues pertinent to the case.
The pack includes the usual style of multi-room shenanigans – 6 suspects, a raft of physical clues to pick up an examine and all the back stories, scripts and instructions needed to run the game.
What makes this plot different from anything else we’ve written to date is the inclusion of 3 lesson plans which specifically focus on aspects of the case and provide educational opportunities for the students.
