Hen Nights and Murder Mystery!
I’ve spoken to a number of hens over the past few weeks, some planning for next year and some, in slightly more of a panic, planning for next week! It’s struck me how creative hens are becoming these days, looking for more and more sophisticated hen parties for brides-to-be and her friends.
With a background in Event Management I’ve been able to help with all sorts of elements of a hen weekend but primarily I’ve focused on providing murder mystery game advice. That said, if you need venue and food advice, add-on suggestions and even location help I can certainly help!
A game just for you!
At Red Herring Games we pride ourselves on the variety of games that we offer and as everything is custom written we can even write a game just for you and your hens too. We’ll take your stories and anecdotes, your character traits and personalities and turn you all into suspects. In fact, we’ll even take your photos (good and bad, we’ve seen them all!) and use them to adorn the covers of your suspects’ booklets and answer sheets.
Off-the-shelf
Well, customising a game might be slightly out of your budget option, but panic not. We’ve plenty of all-girl games that you can chose from, ranging from a 1980’s dressing up opportunity right back to costumes from the 1920’s being needed. Definitely something for everyone…you only have to ask!
Actors required
Sometimes not everyone wants to play a part in a game; they simply want to test their super sleuth skills and work out the whodunit. That’s fine. We can come along with our Police Inspector and his assistant, lots of photographic evidence and a picture of the crime scene. All we need from you are six willing guests who are happy to act along for the evening as suspects, reading their lines and proclaiming their innocence! One of them is definitely guilty, but don’t worry, our Police Inspector will help you work out who!
What do you need to do?
With, or without my help you need to finalise your venue, your number of guests and your dining options. However, don’t panic! If things change and you need a bit of flexibility we can support you. I’m only ever at the end of the phone and right up until the 11th hour we can help you adapt things if we need to.
The extra little things that mean a lot
Having put so much thought into your hen weekend, why not say thank you to your guests with a murder mystery themed party bag (come on, it’s not a party without a party bag, no matter how old you are!). We have a huge range of accessories that you can give your hens, ranging from handcuffs and magnifying glasses through to chocolate guns and red herring key rings. You can present their thank you gift in an evidence bag, sealed with evidence tape and why not even give them a certificate to say they were there and worked out the whodunit.
