How do these games kits work?

Multi-room events are designed to be run in multiple rooms in a venue and are a great way of showing off your premises, or getting maximum footfall through what would otherwise be too small a venue for a traditional murder mystery evening.

These events have proved very popular with the guests, as it encourages them to interrogate the suspects and locate clues hidden around the building. There are usually seven to eight cast, one murder occurs before the evening and the crime scene is set up in one of the rooms in the venue.

The instructions document (the sample file attached) contains the details of the physical clues you will need to obtain for the evening – these are usually easy to obtain props, and some games have paper clues within them too.

We usually suggest a roving buffet as the guests move between rooms, but some hosts prefer to have a formal two-course meal mid-way through the evening.

For these events guests require a special handout and a pen/pencil to keep track of information presented to them.

The scripts are, in the main, monologues which means they can be learned ahead of the event by the actors. Two actors will share a duologue.

Due to the nature of these events, and the need for each guest to have a hand-out, we will only print one copy of each file when ordered as a printed kit. If you wish further copies of the guest handout – please get in touch so we can find out how many copies you need and provide you with a quote.

Introducing the suspects

Boris Blastimov – Renegade Russian General
With thick Russian accent and thicker fur hat, Boris is rarely without his army uniform and regulation boots, even if his loyalties lie elsewhere.

Diane Otherday – MI 6 agent
Smart, sophisticated and incredibly attractive, Diane Otherday has always been able to turn heads.

Des Truct – Megalomaniac
Big, bold and brash, Des Truct is one of the brightest minds of our generation, it’s just a shame he puts all his creative energy into such destructive projects!

Leticia Bomb – Scientist and specialist in postal assassinations
With a strange interest in electronics and chemical fertilizer, Leticia Bomb is a smart and sassy professional who seems to post an awful lot of letters.

Franco Scaryminger – Assassin
With an extra nipple and a taste for the exotic, Franco Scaryminger is tanned, expensively suited and tends to carry a golden gun somewhere on his person.

Golden Eyes – Thief
Resplendent in the latest fashions, Golden Eyes is eminently desirable, but underneath her honey-like exterior lies a cold-hearted killer just waiting to strike.

Walter P. Peekay – Arms Dealer
A wealthy businessman whose dealings have always been on the shady side, Walter P. Peekay is known to have an interest in armaments and investments in some very dubious countries!

Zee – The last letter in MI 6
Zee is the detective sent to solve the case. He provides the solution speech at the end of the evening.

Customise this game

This game can be customised to fit your event for an additional fee.

It’s hard to give “ball park” figures for what different customisations would cost however we’ve attempted to HERE.

Please do contact us for a free quote if you would like any customisations on your game before purchase.

Remember… if you just need 1 extra person, or 1 less person, why not have someone play the inspector role?

The inspector can usually be male or female as the “for real” inspector can simply invent a new name for themselves.

Some hosts prefer to play the inspector role as it means they can work on the catering while the round plays out amongst their guests.
