I thought I was going to dinner to celebrate my friend, who I had not seen in 19 yrs, turning 40. Imagine my surprise when she added this into the mix! Imagine my bigger surprise when I discovered that she, who lives in LA, had contacted Red Herring Games, run by an old school friend back here in the UK! It was only when I saw the back to the script did I realise who had organised everything. It was such fun. A very well-organised and written event, brilliantly delivered by Lydia who really engaged with a room full of people she had never met before. The story played out very well, and with only some getting \”whodunnit\”. Everyone there got into the spirit and roles and with no one knowing who had ’dunnit’ until the very end. I highly recommend Red Herring Games to everyone, for every kind of event.

On behalf of DFDS and our guests, I would like to say a big thank to Red Herring‘s Emma and the team of fabulous actors for entertaining us with Felons, Flappers and Foul Play we held t The Ashbourne Hotel 12th May. Many of our guests had no idea what to expect, but from arriving at the hotel bar when the entertainment started, our guests were fully involved and all named as suspects.
This continued until the final decision from each team was taken out of who dunnit! and then the continued discussions of“I told you so!\” afterwards.

The flow of the evening was very well set up within each course of food and interaction with the guests throughout created great entertainment. The Ashbourne Hotel supplied great food and a first class service, overall a very successful night and great fun, something to be recommended for an informal night for companies and their customers.

We made the right call by having you guys as the actors to walk us through the script.

It went really well and I loved it! I have already received feedback from the others that they loved it too.

A fantastic weekend. Met some really nice people in the breakout rooms. The murder mystery was excellent, well thought out, wonderful costumes and make up. It was exciting receiving the physical packs and a challenge to do the puzzles, although we tried, there were some we didn\’t get and groaned loudly when \”Jeff\” showed us how to do them and the answers as the solution was so easy. The milky bar and the space ships were needed and a nice touch.
The food workshop and the cocktail making were a first for us and we thought the food delicious. I think next time I will order one of each cocktail so we could try both.
We were rubbish at the quiz, but really enjoyed participating. Thankfully our daughter Becky helped us with the escape room and we had our best score ever.
The visit to the observatory was very interesting and next time we go to Ireland we will definitely go in search of it to visit.
Well done to everyone who must have worked so hard to put this weekend together. We really enjoyed the challenge and look forward to our next one.

Red Herring Games were super professional from start to finish, They offered me a range of options to choose from when I made the booking and made lots of helpful suggestions about the event itself and what may be best suited based on my location, venue and number of guests. Their correspondence was clear and easy to follow and the team were always available on the phone for last-minute reassurances and checking details.

The cast themselves were prompt, and \’worked’ the room beautifully, really making sure everyone was engaged throughout the evening and the murder mystery dinner theatre.
