Murder mystery weekends work best if the murder is set appropriately for the venue. As a result we write all our murder mystery weekends to order as we recognise that each venue is different.
Should you wish to run an entire murder mystery weekend at your venue, then do contact us and we will arrange to visit your venue for a meeting to discuss what you think will work best for you.
We can do anything from a relaxed 1920s country house style whodunnit, to a modern day CSI weekend with the help of PulseCSI who have the equipment and training to give your guests that real Scene of Crime Officer experience complete with SOCO suits and fingerprint brushes!
Our weekend mysteries usually take this format:
Friday:
7.30pm | Drinks in the bar. Cast mingle and may or may not introduce themselves depending on the plot |
7.50pm | Dinner . During dinner 2-3 acted scenes are performed by the cast who then also visit each table of guests to allow interrogation. |
10.15pm | The evening is concluded by the discovery of a new body! |
Saturday:
Morning | There is no “morning session” as such (most guests want to be at liberty to explore the hotel and surrounding area and rise when they want to!) Instead there will be clues left around the hotel which guests can find at their leisure. There will also be an evidence room available for guests to peruse. |
7.30pm | Drinks in the bar. Cast mingle and answer questions |
8.00pm | Dinner. During dinner 2-3 acted scenes are performed by the cast who then also visit each table of guests to allow interrogation. |
10.15pm | Summing up – guests are asked to provide a solution and then the murderer is revealed and prizes awarded. |
Sunday:
As the guests depart the hotel will provide each guest with a “detective certificate” for their superior sleuthing skills that weekend.
