It?s a dark and stormy night and The Redbud Garden Club is holding its annual plant show at the Old Grand Hotel.
Just before the meeting is to begin, their keynote speaker, Mr. Seymour Diggen, noted horticulturalist, is been found dead in the conservatory.
Flower petals may fall, but they can?t cover up a MURDER!
Help Rosie Chapeau and the Redbud Garden Club gals figure out ?whodunit?.p>
The suspects
Violet Shureen King - A local spinster who prides herself on her ability to grow her prize winning namesakes, Violet always wears purple (her favourite colour, of course).
Ivy Verde - A stereotypical hypochondriac Ivy is practically a walking pharmacy. Trained in the medical field, she prefers to wear green from head to toe. She loves ivy of any sort?
Flora Fondly - The Ways and Means Chairman for the Garden Club. Flora prefers to wear loud floral prints, bright blue eye shadow and red lipstick.
Iris Wong - An oriental beauty, Iris tries to uphold her family traditions by wearing a kimono and a geisha type hairdo. She grows prize winning bonsai trees.
Pansy Doolittle - Pansy became an honorary member of the Garden Club because of her hefty donations to the ?Beautification of the Gardens? fund. She dresses very flamboyantly and has her servants grow the flowers for her.
Delilah DeHart - Glamorous actress turned cosmetic Mogul, Delilah is always overly made up, and wears designer clothes and gaudy jewellery. She loves to grow large, showy flowers.
Maggie Nolia - Maggie oozes old Southern American charm, while wearing her gloves, picture hats and carrying her parasol. She is partial to the magnolia bushes that remind her of her upbringing.
Coral Bell - Coral is the bookish type, who always questions the other ladies in the Garden Club about how they take care of their yards and their plants. She is always seen wearing a shade of pink.
Petunia Platt - Petunia has lived in Redbud all of her life and is very proud of growing her prize winning petunias. She seems to be a bit odd, because of her tight clothing, huge earrings and big hair, but she has always been well received within the club.
Zinnia Todd - Once a promising science student, Zinny is now content to potter around her flower garden and enter the Garden Club?s competition once a year. With her glasses perched on her nose, wearing a lab coat and rubber gloves, the other members look up to her since she has scientific knowledge.
Lilly Padze - Quite the original ?flower child?, Lilly has long, frazzled hair and mod clothing reminiscent of the 1970?s. She is fond of growing aquatic plants and is partial to frogs.
Mimosa ?Mimi? Monroe - With platinum blonde hair, dramatic eyebrows and a very buxom physique, Mimi stands out in more ways than one wearing her tight sweaters and sunglasses.
