It is a dynamic age. Motor cars, movies, radio and all manner of modern appliances and inventions are hitting the streets and amongst it all, the Flappers are parading their redefinition of womanhood, with bobbed hair, ever shortening skirts and a release from the traditional corsets.

In America, Prohibition is still in full swing and while it makes alcohol a difficult commodity to attain, it certainly isn’t impossible.

The Macaroni brothers are one of Chicago’s main families responsible for importing the contraband. They own Swingers, arguably the most popular speakeasy in all Chicago. From bodyguards to sassy jazz singers, alcohol to fine dining, this hip club has everything.

And tonight – it even has a murder. Bugs Macaroni, the big boss himself, is dead.

The only problem is – who killed him?

  In spats and pinstripe suit, Mickey Macaroni is larger than life and likes to keep his friends close and his enemies closer. The question is: which are you?



• Bunny Hugg - Singer, dancer and Bugs’ moll
  With short bobbed hair and an equally short dress, Bunny just loves jazz, and her tassels are guaranteed to swing with her thing.



• Tommy Gunn - The Macaroni brothers’ Lieutenant
  With sleek hair and pencil moustache, Tommy may look respectable in his tux, but he is never without his side arm, leg arm, rear waistband arm, up the sleeve arm…



• Sherry Shimmy - The newest singer at the club
  Young, vivacious and dangerously blond, Sherry Shimmy is a girl who knows exactly how to strut her stuff.



• Guy Sendalls - Barman
  With quick wrist action, witty patter and a natural flair for cocktails, Guy Sendalls is the barman at Swingers, and a natural confidante for many of the clientele.

Never run a large group mystery before? Then don't panic!

Hosting a Large Group Murder Mystery is time consuming, but with ample preparation and a good cast it is really quite simple and great fun!

In large group games it is impossible to give everyone a part, instead the mystery involves “cast members” who are fully in the know and act out the mystery, and the guests act as detectives trying to solve the murder.

Large group games come in several different formats, clue based, cast based, multi-room, single room, or a mixture of them all.

This particular game requires 5 cast (who are fully in the know) and the use of 1 large dining room . One murder occurs before the guests arrive and one during the evening. The game is constructed to be run during a formal dinner.

Your guests play the role of detectives. You can have any number of detectives for this mystery, your only limit is the size of your room, however we would suggest a number no greater than 200.
